We won’t sell your personal data or fishing spots. You should control what you record, keep, export, and choose to share. Any online service will need a clear explanation of the data it uses.

Fishing and boat ownership belong together. We’re bringing logs, planning, crew, maintenance, and safety into one place—without pretending every future integration is already here.

03Built with anglers.

From weekend runs to charter and tournament operations, real use should shape the product. Feedback informs our priorities; a suggestion or vote is not a promise of a feature.

04Transparency builds trust.

We’ll separate what works today from what’s planned, explain limitations, and make pricing clear before you pay. We’ll share useful progress without exposing private data or sensitive implementation details.

05Safety isn’t a premium feature.

Core safety tools will be free. Bluewater Command is an organizational aid, not a replacement for navigation equipment, official forecasts, emergency communications, or sound judgment.

06No lock-in.

Your records remain yours. Full data export will be free—not a paid escape hatch. We’ll document the available formats and scope as the public release takes shape.

Work now is about refining that foundation for real-world testing. The offline-first core is designed to work without an account or a connection.

A free Windows Alpha download is planned when the build is ready for public testing. No download is available here yet.

Testing will help find rough edges and guide priorities before a wider release. Request early-access updates.

Spring 2027 is the current beta target, not a guaranteed release date. Scope and timing will follow what testing teaches us.

We’ll explain access, supported features, and known limitations before opening the next stage.

Mobile companions, more advanced recommendations, optional cloud and team capabilities, and eventually marine-electronics integration are longer-term directions—not launch promises.

Merch may come earlier. Hardware will have its own product information when there’s something concrete to show, not a premature preorder button.

Can I download it right now?

Not yet. A working Windows development build exists, but public Alpha hasn’t been released. The website will offer the free Alpha download when it’s ready.

Will it work without internet?

The core is offline-first, with local records and no account or signal required for core use. Live online data and future cloud features naturally need a connection. Exact feature requirements will be documented with the release.

Will you sell my data or share my spots?

No selling personal data or fishing spots is a core commitment. You decide what to share. The interactive map above illustrates the principle; it is not a demonstration of a released sharing feature. See our promise for the approach.

What will it cost?

We’re planning a useful free tier and affordable paid subscriptions. Final prices, tiers, and billing options aren’t announced. Core safety tools and full data export will be free.

What about iPhone, Android, or a Mac?

Windows is the first platform. Mobile companions are a later direction, with Android before iOS in the current plan. There is no announced Mac release or committed mobile release date.

Can I take my records with me?

Yes—free full export is part of the product commitment. Supported formats and the scope of exports will be documented for the public release. Your own information should not become a reason you have to keep paying.

Is this just for charter captains?

No. Weekend anglers, private boat owners, charter crews, and tournament teams all have knowledge worth keeping. You don’t need to run a business to want your fishing and boat information organized.

Can I suggest a feature?

Please do. Tell us what’s missing, what you’re trying to accomplish, and how you handle it today. A public suggestion board may come later. Feedback helps set priorities; it doesn’t guarantee a feature or deadline.

Does it connect to NMEA 2000 equipment?

Not as a publicly released offering. Marine-electronics integration and dedicated hardware are longer-term plans. There is no hardware preorder, compatibility promise, or committed ship date here.
